Can I sue a private dealership for selling me a faulty pre inspected truck?

I bought my 2008 F-150 from western auto imports they inspected it and told me nothing was wrong withing one hour of me leaving the dealer ship the truck went into a lower gear while I was driving 50km/h causing gears to grind and tires to skid. It has happened eight times so far and they have done nothing to fix the problem. They have brought it to their mechanics but when they diagnose it, the computer shows no record of anything out of the ordinary happening. It is a actual dealership not some just some guy.
