Why do you like rock music?

I'm doing a persuasive speech for college and I need to persuade people to listen to rock music. Artists that I will most likely be covering are, Led Zeppelin, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses, Def Leppard, etc. Please respond with great detail. Don't just say because it sounds good. I need to get "in-depth" reasoning. Thanks for all your help!
