of course it is. Atkins was a cardiologist. cholesterol does not cause heart disease. Also, even if you restrict your cholesterol intake your body will make up for it and produce all it needs to function which is around 3000mg if totally restricted. Everyone else's answer is opinion based on what they have always heard. There is no evidence to back up those claims. Do your own research.
