Corney or intriguing... or other?

Weel, I didn't read all of that, but it seems decent. There were a couple of cliches. Abnormally dark sky, everything going black, I've heard that before. Just make it night time and describe the unconciousness with more originality (if you need help, read the last chapter of Scorpia).
